I’ve been away from Unsilent Generation for a couple of weeks. People tell me this is a major taboo when you’re trying to get a new blog going–and God knows, I’m grateful to those loyal people who for some reason have decided to subscribe to or otherwise follow my blog. But these days there never seems to be enough of anything–enough time, enough money–and there’s only so much a geezer can do.
What’s been taking up my attention are two stories I’ve done for Mother Jones. One, on the demise of retirement income–and perhaps of the very idea of retirement–will be out in the magazine next month. The other I’ll write about in my next post.
Thanks for sticking with me.
